Rockford Public Library
The Rockford Public Library is a municipal library governed by a nine-member library board and supported by property taxes.  The Library has six locations, a main library in downtown Rockford and five branches in various locations throughout the City.

Ida Public Library
The Ida Public Library is a city library supported by taxes paid by residents of the city of Belvidere, Illinois.  It is governed by a nine-member board of directors.

Northern Illinois University Library
Northern Illinois University, located in DeKalb, Illinois, opened an Outreach Center in Rockford in 1995 to meet the educational needs of the Rockford area.  The Center offers a variety of courses and degree programs at the graduate and post-graduate level.

Beloit Public Library
The Beloit Public Library, located on Pleasant Street in Beloit, Wisconsin, is located in a former U.S. Post Office building.  The Library is governed by a nine-member library board.

Freeport Public Library
The Freeport Public Library is located on Douglas Street in Freeport, Illinois.  It is governed by an eight-member board of trustees.
